How DataCore Analytics Keeps Data Confidential
12 May 2026
DataCore Analytics brings together experienced African bioinformaticians, biostatisticians and data scientists to deliver expert analysis for institutions across the continent.
We earn revenue in three ways: per-project consultancy for individual studies, annual partnership agreements with institutions that need standing analysis capacity, and paid training programmes for students and research staff. Consultants are engaged per project, which keeps fixed costs low and lets us scale the network with demand.
Sequencing capacity across Africa expanded sharply during the COVID-19 response, but analysis capacity did not follow. Universities, reference laboratories and public health institutes are now generating genomic and epidemiological data faster than they can interpret it, and most still outsource analysis outside the continent at high cost and long turnaround.
Customer Centred and Customer satisfaction
We produce results all the time, Customer Trust
We offer our clients the best and help them achieve their data goals and questions
We are building analysis capacity that Africa currently imports. The demand is already there — sequencing platforms across the continent are producing more data than there are people trained to interpret it.
Bioinformatics & Data Science Team
Partners receive a written scope of work, agreed rates and a named consultant. No open-ended retainers and no surprises on the invoice.
Bioinformatics Team
Every engagement is governed by a data handling agreement covering storage, access, authorship and intellectual property.
Bioinformatics Team
Institutional partnerships include training days for your own staff, so the capacity stays with you after the contract ends.
