DataCore Analytics is a bioinformatics, biostatistics and data science consultancy registered in Kenya and operating remotely across Africa. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and how we handle research data entrusted to us by clients.

Information We Collect From This Website

When you submit an enquiry, appointment request or newsletter form, we collect the name, email address, telephone number and message you provide. We use this only to respond to you and, where you have subscribed, to send occasional updates about our services and training programmes.

We do not sell, rent or share contact details with third parties. You can ask us to delete your details at any time by writing to info@datacoreanalytics.org.

How We Handle Client Research Data

Research data is only accepted under a written agreement that sets out scope, storage location, retention period, authorship and intellectual property before any files are transferred.

Each project is assigned a named analyst. Only that analyst and, where necessary, a named supervising consultant have access to your data. Access is logged.

Data is stored on Google Cloud with encryption in transit and at rest. We do not store client research data on personal devices.

We do not reuse client data for other projects, for method development or for training models unless you have given written permission.

At the end of an engagement, data is either returned to you, retained for an agreed period, or securely deleted, according to what your agreement specifies.

Human Subjects and Identifiable Data

Where a project involves human subjects, we ask to see the relevant ethical approval and, where applicable, the material or data transfer agreement before work begins.

We ask clients to de-identify data before transfer wherever the analysis allows it. Where identifiable data is unavoidable, handling terms are set out explicitly in the project agreement.

Confidentiality

Every member of our consultant network signs a confidentiality agreement and a code of conduct. Unpublished results, study designs and datasets are never discussed outside the assigned project team.

Cookies and Analytics

This website uses only the cookies required for basic page function. We do not run advertising trackers or profile visitors.

Your Rights

You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Requests should be sent to info@datacoreanalytics.org and will be answered within 30 days.

Contact
